COVID 19 – Club Rules  

All of our sports and bar facilities are ready to welcome our members, new joiners and guests – please do come along! We continue to follow the Government Covid-19 guidelines and ensure that we provide a safe, welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy! 

Since July 19th 2021, government restrictions were fully removed but the Club continues to follow the highest standards and best practice to ensure that you can feel safe to join us in making the most of using the Club House and its newly refurbished bar.  

Summary  

We have updated our health and safety risk assessment that includes all the risks from COVID-19. This considers the points below and also takes into account any reasonable adjustments needed for staff and customers. 

We will turn away and refuse entry to people with COVID-19 symptoms. Staff members, customers and participants should self-isolate if they or someone in their household has a new, persistent cough; a high temperature; or loses/has changes to their sense of taste or smell, even if these symptoms are mild. They must also self-isolate if they or someone in their household has had a positive COVID-19 result, or if they have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.  

We will provide maximum ventilation. We will make sure there is a supply of fresh air to the club where there are people present. This is natural ventilation through windows, doors and ventilation using fans.  

We are cleaning more often and have increased how often we clean surfaces, especially those that are touched a lot. Please use the hand sanitisers made available at the club and clean your hands frequently. 

We will still enable people to check in at the club even though we are no longer legally required to collect contact details, however doing so will help to support NHS Test and Trace to reduce the spread of the virus. You can check in on the clubs NHS QR code, though we do not have to ask customers to check in or turn them away if they refuse. We also have a system to collect (and securely store) names and contact details for those who ask to check in but do not have the app.  

We will continue to communicate and train all our volunteers, members, contractors and visitors and keep you up-to-date on how we are updating our safety measures.
